This Privacy and Cookie Policy (”Privacy and Cookie Policy”) applies to www.energi-sverige.se (”the Website”), which is owned and operated by Energi Försäljning Sverige AB, Stortorget 23, 211 34 Malmö, Sweden, Reg.No. 556713-8549 (”Energi Sverige”).

Energi Sverige is the data controller in relation to the processing of your personal data. Hence, Energi Sverige has an obligation of ensuring that the processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations that exist to protect the privacy of individuals.

1. What information is collected?

Energi Sverige collects such personal data that you provide on the Website or that is recorded using cookies.     • Energi Sverige saves invoice documentation in accordance with applicable accounting laws and regulations.

    • To contact you with news, information, products or services that may be of interest to you, where the legislation allows for Energi Sverige to contact you in this regard without your consent.

3. Where and how is your personal data stored?

Energi Sverige has taken the necessary technical and organisational security measures to prevent accidental or illegal destruction, loss or degradation of data, and to prevent data from being disclosed to third parties, misused or otherwise processed in a manner that contravenes the Privacy and Cookie Policy.

All information received by Energi Sverige is stored on a secure server. Your personal data is therefore saved on servers with limited access located in controlled facilities, and which are regularly checked to determine whether our personal data is managed in a proper manner.

Your personal data will never be stored longer than permitted by applicable law or longer than necessary to fulfil the above stated purposes. Your personal data will be processed by Energi Sverige during the following time periods.

  • Performance of a contract: Personal data (name, , company registration number, address, telephone number, e-mail, and billing information) which is submitted to Energi Sverige in connection with the order of our services is stored for as long as necessary in order for Energi Sverige’s performance of the agreement with you. This includes, inter alia, fulfilling warranty commitments.
  • Legal obligation: Energi Sverige saves any documentation that constitutes accounting information in accordance with applicable accounting legislation.
  • Consent: In cases where we process your personal data based on your consent, we will only save your personal data for as long as we still have your consent.

How long the cookies can be saved for may vary, but they are generally automatically deleted after 12-24 months. However, some cookies, e.g. opt-out/deselection cookies, may also be stored for up to ten years provided the user does not delete them. Please note that cookies are renewed after each visit.

4. Will my personal information be sent on to other parties?

Personal data regarding our customers is an important part of Energi Sverige’s operations. Energi Sverige does not collect any personal data without you yourself having provided us with the data and we only transfer the data as described below. We always observe great caution when transferring your data and it will only be transferred in accordance with this privacy policy and after taking appropriate security measures.

Energi Sverige may disclose your personal data to associated companies in accordance with legislation and this Privacy and Cookie Policy. Further, your personal data can be disclosed to the following categories of third parties:

  • Partners outside the group of companies that Energi Sverige belongs to: Our partners, i.e. companies outside the group of companies that Energi Sverige belongs to and which are approved by Energi Sverige, may get access to your personal data when they provide services on our behalf.
  • Matching with private and public records: Energi Sverige may enrich your personal data with further information through collection of information from other private and public records. In this way, your personal data may be enriched and updated.
  • Business transactions: If all or part of Energi Sverige’s operations is sold or integrated with any other business, operation or company, your personal data may be disclosed to our advisors, potential buyers and their advisors, and be transferred to the new owners of the operation.
  • Legal obligations: Your personal data may also be disclosed for the purpose of Energi Sverige’s compliance with certain legal obligations and it may be transferred to the Police and other relevant public authorities when permitted and required by law.

Under certain circumstances, your personal data may be transferred to countries outside of the EU/EEA. The data protection laws in some of these countries may not provide as strong protection with respect to your privacy as the Swedish ones do. If so, Energi Sverige will take all appropriate measures in order to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected and that all processing is performed in accordance with this privacy policy. You can always be confident that all transfers of your personal data to countries outside of the EU/EEA are carried out in compliance with applicable data protection laws, as Energi Sverige will ensure that at least one of the following conditions are fulfilled in relation to each of those transfers:

  • Energi Sverige has collected your consent prior to the transfer;
  • the applicable data protection laws provide legal grounds for the transfer;
  • an agreement including certain standard contractual clauses issued by the European Commission (2010/87/EU) have been entered into between Kinnarps and the recipient, without any conflicting changes or amendments;
  • the recipient has adopted binding corporate rules for the processing which have been approved by the relevant supervisory authority and the recipient of the personal data in the third country is bound by these rules; or
  • for transfers to the U.S.A., the recipient has self-certified to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Principles under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and registered on the Privacy Shield List managed by the U.S. Department of Commerce.

5. Your rights

Upon request, you are entitled to find out which personal data Energi Sverige processes about you and to correct any errors. You have the right to obtain information about:

  • the source from which the information has been collected;
  • the purpose of the processing;
  • to which recipients or groups of recipients the data is disclosed;
  • you have the right to get incorrect information about you corrected;
  • in special cases, you have the right to have information about you deleted before the date on which our ordinary general deletion enters into force;
  • in certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted; and
  • in certain cases, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have this personal data transferred from one controller to another without hindrance.

You have the right to withdraw your consent or exercise the aforementioned rights at any time. You can do this by contacting us using the contact information below in Item 7.

If you choose to withdraw your consent, this does not affect the lawfulness of our processing of your personal data on the basis of your previous consent up to the time of withdrawal. If you withdraw your consent, this will only take effect from the time at which consent is withdrawn.
